SCHOOL TRANSPORT
The school has hired a fleet of buses to carry students to and from the school escorted by lady guard (Bus Mother). Parents are requested to check the bus route and schedule before admission as the routes and stops are limited. The students should be present at the bus stop ten minutes before the scheduled time in the morning and board the bus latest by 1.50 p.m. after the school gets over. Transport fee/slabs can be revised by the school at any time during the session. Students availing the bus facility will not be allowed to discontinue it during the session. Transport fee to be paid in advance for the whole year.
Keeping the safety of the students and abiding by the govt rules, they are not allowed to avail any other buses/transport other than their own. Students should board the bus with their I cards. The parents of children using the bus facility are expected to do bus duty as bus mentors by rotation. No change in bus route will be allowed on day-to-day basis and new stop will not be added.
Please note that school transport facility will be withdrawn if a child violates code of conduct for students while travelling in the bus.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT HIRED BY PARENTS
Parents are advised to note the following:-
- Parents must ensure that crew of private vehicle operators, who ferry their children to school, must possess the character and antecedent verification report from the police authorities.
- Be very careful in selecting private transport. Please verify the antecedents and credentials of the van driver especially the conductor in case of private bus.
- Instruct the conductor to be very strict and alert about the child's presence in the private vehicle.
- Inform the school authority about the transporter and the transport in writing.
- If you happen to take child from the school after half day on your own, or bring the child late to school on your own, your bus conductor must be informed about this in advance so that he can communicate to the school.
- The maximum number of children in the van should only be as per rules based on the type of vehicle as per latest guidelines of Delhi Government.
- Dropping time of private vans should not be earlier than 7.30 am in view of safety and security of your ward.
- A copy of Police verification report of the van drivers be submitted to the school alongwith the undertaking form.
- Parents must drop a note at the reception if dropping or picking their ward to or from school.
- Prior information in writing must be given in the school office if there is change of van.
- Check RC of the vehicle and its authentication including insurance, permit, fitness and valid commercial license of the driver.
- Only GPS enabled vehicles should be allowed to carry the students.
- In the light of provisions regarding safety and security of students, parents are strictly advised to ensure the presence of lady attendant / mother volunteer in the private van/bus hired by them.
