Dr. Santosh Vyas

Principal

Dr. Santosh Vyas is a passionate educator and a seasoned administrator, with more than three and a half decades of experience. She is committed to striving for excellence, by working to foster the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical needs of the students, thereby empowering them to face the challenges in life. Adept in overall management of educational programs, while remaining committed to the school’s vision and mission, she aims to provide a positive learning environment to the students.

 A graduate in Botany, postgraduate in Political Science, M. Phil from the University of Delhi and B.Ed. from the prestigious Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi, Ph.D in Education; her Educational and Administrative experience helps her to understand the dynamism of the ever-changing Educational requirements in this world.

With diverse work experience as a PGT Teacher, HOD, Academic Supervisor, Vice-Principal and Principal at Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls, New Delhi, she has also mentored B.Ed. students of Central Institute of Education, University Delhi as a Lecturer for more than two years. She has also completed ICT Qualification EPICT Course and was Selected by Microsoft for the Training to become MIEE (Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert).

She is a high-achieving leader with a focus on academic excellence and students’ accomplishment in various fields such as Sports, MUNs, Visual and Performing Arts, etc. With her path-breaking ideas, innovative approach, and transformational pedagogy, she has influenced many success stories.

Resource Person

• Appointed by CBSE COE Delhi East, CBSECOE Bhubaneswar, CBSE Ajmer, and CBSE Dehradun as Resource Person. Conducted sessions on a variety of topics for teachers from India and abroad.
• Appointed by CBSE as Resource Person for Pedagogical Leadership Training of Principals.
• Developed Content and Material for CBSE under VIDYADAAN programme, Certificate of Appreciation received from CBSE.
• Practice Questions Content has been created which has been approved and accepted by CBSE.( subject –Political Science, No. of questions created 150)
• Reviewed content on Political Science under PMeVIDYA Programme 2020
• Conducted two days’ workshop on” “Competence Building” for teachers of Indian High School, Dubai.
• Selected by Australia Education International and Asia Education Foundation in collaboration with University of Melbourne for an Exchange Programme of Teachers in Australia.
• Successfully coordinated and led a group of students to the ‘USA – East Coast Space Adventure’ journey.
• Gave a Presentation in Amity Institute of Education in A Seminar on the theme “Sustaining Best Practices in Education”. The topic of the presentation was “School Innovation”.
• Organised Inter-School Model United Nations Conferences in Collaboration with United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan.
• Organised Inter-School Youth Parliament Sessions organized by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

• As a panelist, the Principal conducted the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship interview on 22nd November 2022.
• Invited as a panelist on a panel discussion on ‘21st Century Skills & Employment’ by Amity University, Gurgaon.
• Principal was a panelist in a panel discussion on Future of Education and Enabling Well Being in the Community presented by Benesse at The Grand New Delhi on 25th November 2022.
• Panel Discussion by Expressions India & Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the program ‘Manodarpan’ on the topic ‘Peer support in Mental Health Advocacy for Youth’.

Awards Received                                 

• The Principal has Received State Teachers Award 2018 for giving Excellent results in Class XII CBSE Exams in Political Science continuously and for adopting various Innovative Teaching Techniques. The Award was conferred by the Chief Minister, Delhi Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Mr. Manish Sisodia.
• Received Life Empowerment Award by Expressions India under the category Principal Leadership for Outstanding Endeavors.
• Under her able guidance, the School received Life Empowerment Award by Expressions India under the category Health & Physical Education for Holistic Wellbeing- 2020-21.
• Principal attended as panellist in the Entab Campus care round table conference for Experiential learning Pedagogy, Developing new skills, new attitudes and new ways of thinking in July 2022
• Under her able guidance, the School won the International Dimension in School Award 2022-2025 by British Council of India.
• Received Certification of Appreciation for participation in conducting the Climate Project Foundation –Green Campus Program under Gold category in the year 2022 organized by the Climate Reality Project India.
