EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION

There is continuous comprehensive evaluation throughout the year up to class X.

EVALUATION AND PROMOTION

The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) was already the part of school evaluation system up to Class VIII. It has now been extended up to Class X.

The academic year will be divided into two terms, the first term from April to September and the second term from October to March. Each term during its course will have two formative assessments and one summative assessment. The evaluation of the scholastic areas will be followed as per the table given below:

The weight age of Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA) shall be as follow:

Work experience and art education/SUPW and physical education will also be a part of the scholastic areas

In addition to the scholastic areas, co-scholastic areas like life skills, attitudes and values, participation and achievement in activities involving literary and creative skills, scientific skills and performing arts and clubs, health and physical education will also be evaluated.
